This review is from: Buried Threads (Kindle Edition)

'Buried Threads' is an amazing heart throbbing action thriller where writer Kaylin Mcfarren has wonderfully woven the threads of romance, adventure, action, mystery and suspense with a glimpse of rich Japanese culture to plot an outstanding novel.
The book takes its readers slowly and smoothly close towards its main characters Rachel and Chase who are treasure hunters and are hired to find a mysterious sword. They soon realize that the treasure hunting wont be as easy as it seemed instead its going to give them a tough challenge full of twists and turns.
There were moments when writers captivating book kept me on the edge of my seat and biting my nails waiting and wanting to know what was to come further. There are many other characters in the novel who were very distinctive like Shinzo and Kenji ( who was a villain but very appealing) these characters kept my interest level high till the very end.
This book is sure to make a very successful Hollywood blockbuster since it had everything from an outstanding movie name to whether it be action scenes or sexy hot steaming love making moments.
I really enjoyed every bit of this book , it kept me fully engaged and passed my hours like seconds. I would highly recommend this book to all and esp. to those looking for a book with complete spicy mix of romance, adventure and thrill.

Cornered by Alan Brenham

5.0 out of 5 stars

This review is from: Cornered (Kindle Edition)

Cornered by Alen Brenham is a wonderful and well plotted work of fiction thriller where detective Matt Brady has a case on hand to solve the mystery of disappearance of seven young and attractive women. The book becomes more interesting since Matt is left with no clues or leads which can be the key to his success and he is all by his own to solve the mystery.
Author Alan Brenhams' personal experiences in police and law as a Temple Patrol Officer and Assistant General counsel for Taxes Department of Criminal justice makes the book feel very realistic and enjoyable read. The book has many other characters other than detective Matt who are well portrayed like Brad's ex girlfriend, veterinarian Tracy Rogers and other men who are good and bad who contribute in the writers captivating story style.
Alan Brenhams 'Cornered' also gives us a closer look into today's growing crime 'human trafficking' and the misery faced by its victims. Over all the book is full of adventure, bit of romance, thrill, suspense and mystery. I would highly recommend this novel to all and esp. to all those with interest in suspense thriller with a strong realistic story line.

Full of knowledge and a confidence booster!!, August 18, 2014

This review is from:  Alice Doesn't Live in the Mirror (Kindle Edition)

'Alice Dosen't Live in the Mirror' by Rich D.Rios Jr. Is a true eyeopner and a conficence booster for women of all ages esp. Teenagers. The writer has taken his main character 'Alice' from the children fantasy story book 'Alice in Wonderland' to describe the impact of a fake, so called 'ideal women' to be reflected on up growing girls by their family, media, peers and co workers.
Author Richard. D. Rios Jr. Has wonderfully helped women and teenage girls by his book to overcome the false stereotypes that keep them from being the real wonderful themselves, who they are and the way they all are special in their own ways in contributing to their family and friends.
The book is full of reality, based on knowledge and information taken from different natural and scientific studies based on the views of 'chakra expert and energy practioners, gemstone expert, chinese medicine, herbal and wellness expert', relating the myths and facts of healthy human body, mind and soul.
This book is not a fiction read infact it is a true guide and friend to all up growing girls and women who are misguided by the society. I would highly recommend this knowledgable read to all the lovely women, friends and growing teenage girls. Remember we all are different and special in our own little ways, so never fake it instead always respect yourself and discover your inner potentials. Definitely A must read!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Scientific Fiction!!, April 19, 2014
This review is from: PROTECTOR - The Ballad of Jimmy Fisher: Earthstrike (Kindle Edition)

'Protector- The Ballad of Jimmy Fisher' by Mark Gravil is an amazing science fiction about Jimmy Fisher and his teenager friends Lily, Pete and Eddie.
Jimmy is an ordinary student in school but he is unaware of his special qualities which are undiscovered by his family and friends until one day when he encounters an alien and the planet Earth is captured by alien race Jhuurdreng Corporation.
Author Mark Gravil's book has an interesting story line about teenagers, getting involved in an alien invasion with mind blowing imagination , realistic description of spaceships and superior alien race that strikes earth.
The book is so written that readers can effortlessly feel the emotions of characters and get well absorbed by the story.
'Protector- The Ballad of Jimmy Fisher' will make a perfect sci-fic movie series and i am sure it will make all teenagers its fan!

An excellent inspiring read!!, March 12, 2014
This review is from: Unfaithful Mind (Kindle Edition)

'Unfaithful Mind' is a well narrated heartbreaking real story or rather i would say a memoir of Marion Gibson, where she tells us about her wonderful love marriage with 'Jack Gibson'. Her world is turned upside down all of a sudden when her 'perfectly happy' well going marriage is put on sudden test by her husband Jacks mental illness or 'schizophrenia' ruining his thoughts and trust on Marion as a good wife.
I was really shocked by reading how Jacks behavior completely changed, he was not the same man who fell in love with the writer!!
The author has so well put across her feeling, of when she had to face the kind of situations, where she had to put up with a mentally ill man. I am sure it was very painful for the author to go through this phase of life wherein her loved one was suffering so seriously, but she stood rock-hard with her husband "through sickness and in health" and she proved to be a perfect loving wife.
The author has used very simple language in her novel and certain parts where 'what was going on in her husbands mind' makes this book really interesting.
Marion has been a role model and real inspiration for all those who go through such situations in life. I felt really good to read that in the end all was well and the authors family didn't fall apart.
I would highly recommend this real non fictional to all esp. those who are firm to save their relation and loved ones, no matter how many hardships they come across. Its a must read!!

5.0 out of 5 stars History made interesting!!, March 10, 2014
This review is from: The Year of the Horsetails (Kindle Edition)

'The Year of the Horsetails' by R.F. Tapsell is an excellent , well imagined fictional tale based on history where we are introduced with character known as 'Bardiya' who is a soldier in the army of Kagan of the brutal Mongol, like central Asian nomad people of the Tugars. Escaping the barbaric militarily superior Tugars, Bardiya helps villagers to defend themselves.
The author has put across the cultures and society of the early dark ages in a very interesting manner describing the landscapes and battles captivating all the non history lovers.
The novel has a well planned plot, heroic characters, adventure, romance and war, everything necessary for a perfect narrative. It is a must read, I would highly recommend this novel to all esp. history lovers with an interest in fictional heroic characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars A heart touching read!!, March 9, 2014
This review is from: Sweet Serendipity (Kindle Edition)

'Sweet Serendipity' is a very touching story about a wonderful homely lady and mother of two 'Rebecca' who is too involved in her family life doing her daily household work and giving her best possible in every way to her family until one day her happily married life( so she thinks) falls apart when she finds her husband Jack cheating on her for a younger blonde girl.
This novel has many other interesting characters with powerful personalities but Ethan a young handsome man stands out as he enters Rebecca's life with a promising lovable future.
From the very moment i started reading about Rebecca i fell in love with her because her character gave a glimpse of all hardworking family loving women whether it was my mom, my friends or even me, I could quite well relate her with my life.
The novel had such a smooth flow of emotions that it kept me glued for hours until i finished it completely and i am sure all its readers would agree with me.
The story was so realistically put together that it bought a burst of emotions in me, at times Rebecca's tears brought lump of sadness in my throat and other times i just counted on Ethan to bring back happiness in her because she deserved to be happy.
I would love to dedicate and highly recommend this book to all lovely, family bringing women around the world.
